Carey and Going Green

Carey Hendricks, aka SheShooter was forged in San Francisco, and honed in Los Angeles. She has experience working in every department on-set, chiefly as a set photographer in movies and TV - where the grips nicknamed her SheShooter. Blending her organizational skills and love of photography, she set her sights on production, both film and stills. She really cares about what she does and how well she does it- thinking of every detail. You will see that when you work with her.

The decision for SheShooter to "go green" on-set was natural as the company was already so "green" in the office. It is a ubiquitous concern in our production office and everyday life, and so should be on location as well. Recycling cans & plastic bottles has long since been the norm for SheShooter, and now the intent is to increase the scope of efficiency. For example, after recycling 100 disposable water bottles after a one day shoot, SheShooter started to provide water coolers on set. Surely, if Horizon Pictures Ltd could make Lawrence of Arabia without one disposable water bottle, we can do the same on any project we produce.

Our "green" goal is to not use any more resources being on set than we all would if we were not on set that day. It doesn't take much effort to make a difference and SheShooter is doing it one disposable bottle at a time.

A few things that make SheShooter different:
-100% recycled production book materials - ceramic coffee cups - paperless catering - recycle bins with all trash bins
- hybrid production vehicle - recycle services for all departments

These, and other responsible elements will elevate your production with an eco-conscience.
Your production looks better because it is better.
